The infection spreads: Sister bought her first canoe and we had to try it out. It works. Temp was nice and we had a great time. Canoe season has officially begun! Can't wait until next weekend.

Stopped here to stretch the legs and snack a bit.
Me, Jen, Lori and Dave ready to embark.

It was quite a rapid flow, no paddling needed.
My sister's Coleman Ram-X 15 canoe.

Our Old Town Discovery 169 canoe.
Shootin the BS at the first stop. Homemade wine, strawberry vodka slushies and beer to loosen the muscles.

Interesting perspective.
Joking around with a quickie beer bong.

Have to bring a bigger one with a tube next time.
The canoes.

Us relaxing on the creek.
Nice to see open fields and farms rather than the crowded city.

Interesting reflection off my paddle.
Coming up on the end just beyond the bridge.

This guy was having a bad day.
Rt. 6N bridge over French Creek.

This is the normal landing area pretty well submerged.
This is what happens after towing the canoes up the hill to the cars.

The hill.
The ending shot, notice how we all stayed dry.

The bridge from road level.
We took a cruise over to the Union City Dam to see how full it was.

I'd say it's pretty full. This is usually just a small trickle of a stream about 20 feet wide.
